Our story
The story behind the brand NHG – NEW HAIR GOAL – is about three Estonian top hairstylists whose aim is to raise self-confidence by creating products that stimulate hair growth.
These women – Marleen, Heleri and Merike- are bound by passion for hair, prioritising the emotional well-being of a customer, empowering each other and never giving up on their dreams.
Working everyday with our clients made us understand that hair has a major impact on our general well-being. It acts as the crown we wear everyday, giving us the self-confidence we need to succeed in our lives.
By holding our NGH bottle you have become a part of our story and we would like to express our sincere gratitude for that.
It is your New Hair Goal that we keep focusing on. NHG is committed to using natural and sustainable ingredients, while also embracing technology and science to create effective and safe products.

Merike Minlibajeva, the superstar hairstylist from Estonia. She’s been in the beauty industry for over a decade, and let me tell you she has such a vast knowledge of her craft. Not only is she a pro at different modest hair colouring techniques, but she’s also the co-founder of Big Apple Salon (team of 20 hairstylists), an executive coach, and even a Restorative justice volunteer – talk about a superwoman!
Merike’s vision for NHG is all about valuing human interaction and emotional well-being. She believes that every client’s story and experience is unique and deserves to be heard. Truly inspirational woman who not only knows her stuff but also cares about you as a person!
And who knows, if you’re lucky, you might even get to hear some of Merike’s hilarious jokes while meeting her in person. She’s a real gem, and we’re lucky to have her as part of our NHG family.

Marleen’s knowledge of style and design is second to none. She’s also been a huge contributor to NHG, bringing her special touch of beauty to NHG. Here’s the best part – despite already creating two successful brands, Marleen still wanted to do more. She’s all about creating more value in the beauty industry, and we are here for it!
Marleen’s also a total sweetheart with a great sense of humor. She knows how to make her clients feel like family. We’re so lucky to have her as part of the NHG family.
